CSG welcomes Senator Sandra Pupatello (Ontario)
Ottawa – The Canadian Senators Group (CSG) is pleased to welcome Senator Sandra Pupatello.
When Senator Pupatello was appointed earlier this year, it was described as a “big, big deal” (Windsor Star, March 7, 2025). She comes to the Senate with over 30 years of experience in corporate leadership and community engagement, both in the public and private sectors. She is a strategic thinker and a strong advocate to promoting economic growth and prosperity for Ontario and for Canada. She is also known for her deep roots in the Windsor area and a tireless advocate for local businesses and communities.
She served 16 years in the Ontario Legislature for the riding of Windsor West and held several Cabinet posts including Minister of Economic Development and Trade and those involving education, women’s issues, and community and social services. This knowledge and experience will be of great benefit to the Senate during its review of upcoming legislative and policy changes as Canada’s economy undergoes the greatest transformation since Free Trade was first introduced. Members of the CSG look forward to working with her as she represents the people of Windsor and Ontario.
The CSG is honoured that Senator Pupatello has chosen to join its team.
